Blueberries

Little blueberries
Round sweet sour can't get enough
Summer blues are here

Treasures

Periodically I will post one of my series of Haiku about eagles.
I have been keeping track of several families of eagles off the
coast of California via webcam. There is a wonderful organization
called The Institute for Wildlife Studies. I have been watching
their eagle webcams since the eggs were laid. Here is a link to
their website. http://www.iws.org/

Treasures laid in nests
Hidden high up in the hills
Soaring majesty

When cancer is killing you
Its good for the soul

Sing

Standing in the woods
Birds and other creatures sing

I Want

I want to grow old
Fill each day with new treasure
But I die instead

Who

Empathy is hard
Selfishness is status quo
Who of us is perfect

Snow

Snow falls gently down
Covering in deep silence
My soul is buried

Thunderstorms

Hot sweltering days
Then violent thunderstorms
Watch the steam arise

Ants

The little ants trail
One following the other
Stay outside you pests
