Trees

The other day I wrote a short essay on trees.
This set of Haikus was inspired by my essay.
It is really beautiful, I will include the link to my
other blog at the end of this set of Haikus.

Winter Tree

Tree pregnant with life
Sap coursing through her body
Preparing for birth.


Spring Tree

Tree bursting forth with
Tiny spring green buds of life
Delicate beauty.


Summer Tree

Tall majestic tree
Wearing her finest green leaves
Home for all creatures.


Autumn Tree

Wearing her colors
Proudly finishing her job
The tree sleeps again.

Bitter Pills

Chewing in my sleep
Oh the nasty bitter pills
Croissant preferable

Dreaming of croissant

Revolution

Ducks quack hungrily
Bread is gone, revolution!

Emotions

I Wake up crying

I tried baklava
as my ativan but it
didn't work for me

Sure tasted yummy though.

Early Morn

Silence of the night
Broken by sounds of the world
Beginning it's day

Pillow Fight

Feather hurricane
Swirling here there everywhere
Now an empty case

Early Bird

Early Bird gets WHAT???
I am a civilized bird.
Want breakfast in bed.


Just in case someone does not get the reference, this refers
to the old saying "The early bird gets the worm".

Online Bingo

Ok, so maybe I am spending a little too much of my time
playing Bingo on my phone, but geez, it sure gets my mind
off of stuff and oh boy, there are endorphins when you win!

Scared Depressed

even more. Dr wants scans.
