Dark dreary soaking

Dankness destroys my psyche
Bones turning to mush

Mobility or Lack Thereof

Mobility lost
Becoming one with the bed
Attached at the hip

Horror

Horror engulfs my mind
As my frail body whithers
A moth close to flame

Wasteland

My beautiful mind
Reduced to a vast wasteland
Engulfed by panic

I have been watching explore.org's bear webcams a lot. They bring me peace and also excitement. The beauty at Katmai National Park is amazing. It has been forever since I have been inspired to write any haiku at all. I just wrote three. Not my best effort, but I am so happy that I got to write any at all!
