Walkies

This is a series based on an imaginary dog walk since I can't really
walk my little dog these days. But it is so nice to imagine.

sweater and coat on
walking in the cold brisk air
our adventure time

stiff breeze sends scents of autumn
nose up sniffing air

smokey scent of burning wood
flowers in our sight

pretty purple leaves displayed
stop look walk again

keys jangle as door opens
adventure ending

disappointment in the eyes
cookie happiness

cookie happiness
crumbs on couch and wagging tails
life is good again
