The Name
Somewhat untraditional, but I hope you will find it fascinating.
Why have they left me
On this strange cold evil place
Left to die alone
Meant to do great things
But they abandoned the hope
Leaving not the key
Just bones left at last
The bones of something special
Never recognized
What is my name?
Bright flashing white lightning bolt type thing shapes happening then a fuzzy vortex with an opening appearing cloud like with wavy lines as in a primitive drawing of water, sort of either coming from the cloud vortex opening or in front of it. This is what was seen when the eyes were closed and the question was asked.

Two Haikus : New Day and Another Day
I wrote these as I was waking up.
Rest of the world :
Sun shines through closed eyes
Body stirs slowly stretching
Dawn of a new day
Body stirs slowly stretching
Dawn of a new day
Me:
Ugh sun is shining
Body aches and will not move
Another crappy day
Body aches and will not move
Another crappy day

Snug?
What a weird saying
Snug as a bug in a rug
I would be screaming!
Early Bird
Early Bird gets WHAT???
I am a civilized bird.
Want breakfast in bed.
Just in case someone does not get the reference, this refers
to the old saying "The early bird gets the worm".

Or might it just really be
Bingo meditation!
Ok, so maybe I am spending a little too much of my time
playing Bingo on my phone, but geez, it sure gets my mind
off of stuff and oh boy, there are endorphins when you win!

I found oodles of pictures that would go with this Haiku.
I tried adding a picture to this haiku, but I just felt that it detracted
from the image that the haiku itself imparts, so... no picture!

Vintage Halloween Postcards
A Halloween blog
For Vintage Postcard Junkies
Who could ask for more
When I was looking for a picture to go along with my Halloween
Haiku, I found some marvelous images of vintage Halloween
postcards. I put them in a blog article on Sirius Reflections. I just
think old vintage postcards are so cool. Particularly the holiday
ones. If you are interested here is the link to the blog article.

I couldn't resist using this picture even though I am pretty
sure that this would do the exact opposite of helping to
create visions. Well, maybe scary ones!

Following is a link to the book that the illustration is from. The book is titled
Bunny Brown and his sister Sue at Camp Rest-a-While. You can actually read
the book at the following link thanks to the Internet Archive at archive.org and
The New York Public Library.

Also, here is a link to the entire series as listed on the Goodreads website.

I know I focused the blog text on the source of the illustration but I want to
get back to what I wrote. I think it's important to keep the third line in mind.
